NAHJ has a long history with innovative and engaging conferences in South Florida. The first time a new media track was launched during a South Florida conference…NAHJ was among the first to offer digital journalism training to journalists at conferences… inspiring others like the Online News Association.
We’re looking to reinvent conference programming again and influence the industry by moving a significant portion to hands on training and deep dive workshops. To do so, we’ve brought together some of the top industry leaders to curate our curriculum from your feedback.

NAHJ has a long history with bringing innovation to conferences in South Florida. This is the same location where we first launched a new media track offering digital journalism training to our colleagues, consequently inspiring others such as the Online News Association. I helped to organize that first new media track and I’m honored to be returning to oversee the entire conference programming that’s includes learning experiences throughout the year leading up to NAHJ 2018.
