What is NBCUniversity?
This one-day intensive workshop, geared toward on-air AND off-air convention attendees, is taught by NBCU “professors,” and is designed for individuals at all levels of their career. At the core of every good journalist is the desire to grow, develop, change and renew—it is in the fiber of our being to improve our craft and to advance our stories. As the media landscape alters with each successive year, so too do we reach new heights, growing beyond our limits. This year’s NBCUniversity will be all about the process of change, renewal, and ultimate revitalization as journalists. Each individual journalist will leave with a new set of tools to bring back to their newsroom, and a renewed sense of why we got into this profession in the first place.
Our coursework includes a variety of classes, from script writing to career development. You’ll learn all you need to know to graduate to the next level of your career.
Why get involved?
NBCUniversity attendees will get hands-on training from the best in the biz, individual attention from news leaders, and review of their work from top management hailing from all NBCUniversal platforms.
